Synopsis
Paul’s Drapion turns the Full Battle with Toxic Spikes before Infernape and Pikachu fight back to give Ash a three-to-two lead. Buizel escapes Drapion’s tail but is poisoned by the Toxic Spikes and finished by Pin Missile.
Staraptor, immune to the spikes as a Flying-type, is grabbed, hit with Cross Poison and slammed into the poisoned ground. Torterra, poisoned the moment it lands, trades Energy Ball and Leaf Storm with Drapion before Poison Fang and Pin Missile defeat it. Paul’s speedy Ninjask then wears down Gliscor with Fury Cutter, so Ash switches to Infernape, which tunnels underground and erupts with Flare Blitz, burning away the Toxic Spikes and finishing Ninjask with Mach Punch.
Paul’s Froslass summons Hail and vanishes with Snow Cloak, then freezes Pikachu with Ice Beam, but Pikachu breaks free with Volt Tackle and knocks it out after Iron Tail ends the hail. Paul brings back Drapion against Gliscor, which hides in the smoke of Cross Poison, strikes with Giga Impact and dives in with X-Scissor as the episode ends.
