Synopsis

The Explorers turn five of the Six Heroes against Liko, Roy and Ult with new Super Strong Spheres, while Dot, teaming up with Hamber to free the captive Cervantis, defeats Chalce when Tinkaton learns Gigaton Hammer. At the warehouse, Indi and Rubina reveal that Cervantis is not there; three trucks open to show the five captured Six Heroes in cages, and the Explorers use Super Strong Spheres on them while Coral and Sidian arrive to observe how much of Laquium’s power the spheres can draw out. Lucius’s Lapras hides Kleavor in Mist so it can strike Sableye unseen, Arboliva attacks, and Captain Pikachu rescues Sableye. Roy sends Kilowattrel up with Crocalor on its back to knock Galarian Moltres down with Flamethrower. Lapras’s Hydro Pump hits Hattrem, Pagogo takes its Terastal Form to use Protect, and Hattrem senses Kleavor’s position to guide Meowscarada. Sableye’s Throat Chop on Gouging Fire is burned by Burning Bulwark, and Ult is horrified by the Heroes’ strength.

Elsewhere, Hamber meets Dot and asks for her help rescuing Cervantis, but Chalce intercepts them and manipulates Hamber into standing down to protect his double-agent role, so Dot battles her instead. Chalce’s Medicham, boosted by a Strong Sphere, evades Tinkaton’s Metal Claw and Brutal Swings, breaks the tree trunk she swings, and counterattacks. Dot tells Tinkaton to focus all her power into her hammer and buys her time to charge it, and Tinkaton learns Gigaton Hammer, defeating Medicham in one blow; Chalce retreats on Xatu, and Dot and Hamber press on towards Cervantis. At the warehouse, Liko remembers Diana’s theory about Pagogo and asks Roy and Ult to buy it time. The three send out Charcadet, Lucario and Dragonite, Liko and Roy Terastallize Meowscarada and Crocalor, and Ult Mega Evolves Dragonite as “Halo” plays.

Crocalor’s Flamethrower brings down Arboliva and Kilowattrel’s Electro Ball grounds Galarian Moltres; Meowscarada and Lucario take on Kleavor while Mega Dragonite and Cap handle Gouging Fire. Hattrem redirects Charcadet’s Ember with Confusion to hit Lapras and free Pagogo, which purifies the Six Heroes of the spheres’ influence. Watching through Beheeyem, Spinel decides that Pagogo is a threat and orders the Tacklers defeated. Dot and Hamber succeed in rescuing Cervantis, but at the warehouse the Explorers use Super Strong Spheres on the Six Heroes once more, and Kleavor knocks out both Hattrem and Pagogo. With Pagogo too weak to help, Liko, Roy and Ult face a second round against the rampaging Heroes, their remaining Pokémon already battered. The preview, narrated by Ult, Sableye, Amethio and Ceruledge, teases the arrival of Amethio, whom Ult has yet to meet.
