Synopsis
Isolated with sphere-boosted Six Heroes, each Tackler and Amethio wins their battle, Pagogo’s Stellar Form frees the Heroes from the Super Strong Spheres, and the Heroes return to the wild — but Spinel releases doctored footage to brand the Rising Volt Tacklers as thieves. The matchups go badly: Kleavor’s Bug moves are super effective on Meowscarada, Skeledirge’s new Ghost type leaves it weak to Galarian Moltres’s Fiery Wrath, Gouging Fire has learned Ancient Power, Quaxwell is knocked out by Arboliva, and Amethio’s White Zygarde, revealed as his own catch, is frozen by Ice Beam and loses Cells. Roy stays calm, has Kilowattrel draw Moltres’s attention while charging through Wind Power, and Terastallizes Kilowattrel into the Electric type for the first time; it learns Supercell Slam mid-battle but misses and takes crash damage, until Skeledirge’s Torch Song boosts the next attempt and Moltres crashes to the ground. Following Lacey’s advice, Ult checks his Pokédex and has Mega Dragonite’s Twister hurl Gouging Fire’s Ancient Power back at it, winning with two super effective hits.
Dot replaces Quaxwell with Gholdengo, whose Make It Rain pins Arboliva long enough for Tinkaton’s Gigaton Hammer. Amethio’s Zygarde uses Thousand Arrows, sees through Lapras’s Mist, switches from 50% to 10% Forme and wins with Core Enforcer, and Liko’s Hatterene uses Healing Wish to restore Meowscarada, which Liko Terastallizes; leading Kleavor into its invisible stems, Meowscarada finishes it with a Tera-boosted Magical Leaf. The battles reveal five Tera Types: Arboliva Normal, Moltres Dark, Lapras Ice, Kleavor Bug and Gouging Fire Rock. When the walls glitch, Amethio spots Spinel, and as Pagogo prepares to purify the Heroes, Spinel orders the Super Strong Spheres used again; Coral and Sidian hesitate, but the spheres are used, and the Heroes, their bonds destroyed, attack each other indiscriminately. With Amethio’s agreement, Zygarde returns to 50% Forme and creates a barrier with Pagogo that shows the Heroes their shared memories.
The Heroes fight back against the Laquium long enough for Pagogo to purify them, and Pagogo shifts into its Stellar Form and Terastallizes all five. Spinel suddenly feigns innocence, but Ult is not fooled and declares that the Rising Volt Tacklers will end things on Mount Pericarp; the group leaves with the Heroes. Indi and Rubina confirm that their recordings are complete, satisfying Spinel, while Chalce rolls her eyes and Coral and Sidian begin to doubt the spheres. Freed, the Six Heroes return to the wild, promising to meet again, and Amethio leaves with Zirc and Onia to study Zygarde’s potential, promising to reunite at Laqua. The Tacklers decide to report to Naranja Academy, while Spinel releases altered footage portraying them as criminals who stole injured Heroes from the Explorers’ care and prepares for the spheres’ public launch. The ending theme plays as an insert with on-screen credits, the first such use since JN147.
