Community Guidelines

Pokémon Dungeon has been a home for fans since 2000. Members can share their own fan art and stories, and every submission is checked by a moderator before it appears on the site. These guidelines keep it a friendly place for everyone.

Who can join

You need to be 13 or over to create an account. One account per person, please.

What you can share

  • Your own fan art: drawings, paintings, digital art, sketches and pixel art of Pokémon and their world.
  • Your own stories: fan fiction, from one-off tales to chapter-by-chapter series.
  • Art made with AI tools is welcome too, as long as you say so: tick the “made with AI tools” box when you submit, and it will be labelled.

Keep it suitable for everyone

Pokémon Dungeon is read by fans of all ages, so everything you share must be suitable for a general audience. Adventure, battles and a bit of peril are fine, just like in the games and the anime. Please don’t submit:

  • sexual or suggestive content
  • graphic violence, gore or self-harm
  • hateful, bullying or discriminatory content
  • strong swearing
  • anything illegal or dangerous

Only share your own work

  • Don’t submit art or writing made by someone else, even with credit.
  • Don’t trace or copy other people’s art, official artwork, screenshots or cards.
  • If you worked with someone else, ask them first and credit them in the description.
  • Pokémon and its characters belong to Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures and The Pokémon Company. Fan works on Pokémon Dungeon are shared for fun, not for sale.

Stay safe

  • Choose a member name that isn’t your full real name.
  • Don’t put personal details in your bio or your work: no age, school, address, phone number or email address.
  • Profile links should go to your own art or writing pages.

How moderation works

  • A moderator reviews every submission before it goes live, usually within a few days.
  • We may decline a submission that doesn’t fit these guidelines, and we’ll tell you why.
  • We can remove published work or close accounts that break the rules, especially for repeated or serious problems.

Your work, your rights

You keep ownership of everything you create. When you submit, you confirm that the work is your own and give Pokémon Dungeon permission to show it on the site with your member name as the credit, in galleries, in the Library and on pages that feature members’ work. If you want something taken down, ask us through the contact form, or delete your account and all your work goes with it.

Badges

Members earn badges for milestones, such as their first approved piece, 10 pieces, 1,000 views or a five-chapter story. They’re just for fun, so please don’t submit lots of low-effort work to collect them.
