Haunter’s Haunted House (“Triple H”) was a small sister site run by Haunter, Ian Alumbaugh, with help from his brother Gengar, Curtis Alumbaugh, the creator of Gengar’s Online Pokédex. These pages are from 2005 and are kept as they were.

Welcome to Triple H

Haunter, 24 November 2005

Hello Everyone Welcome to Triple H. I am the Webmaster Haunter. You may also know me as the Director of GHPF. I do not have very much HTML practice. But luckily my brother Gengar is smart enough to know how to do it and teach me a thing or two. lol. Anyway I am going to try to have the basic format of the site finished by January 1st, 2006. Well if you have any suggestions feel free to email me. I will have it posted on the menu later on. Thank you and enjoy your stay at HHH.

The history of Haunter’s forums

You may be familiar with some of Haunter’s other boards. But in reality there were only 3 major forums that helped him in his basic designs. The first forum he made was Haunter’s Board . The original forum was made in 1999. The forum ran great for 2 years. It had around 50 active members and then it just went down in late 2001. His brother Gengar then suggested he should upgrade since ezboard was going out. he then brought it back in 2003 just for jokes. But I never advertised it so no one came.

Gengar then suggested he should upgrade to proboard, Haunter’s Pokémon Forums. The Proboard then lasted until 2004. I then shut it down and brought it back in the middle of 2005. It is currently to be the backup forum for GHPF. If Pokémon Dungeon ever shuts down it is the temporary forum until it is back up and running.

[Editors Note: Due to its being overrun by spammers, it has been abandoned and replaced with a new backup. –White Phoenix]

Nearing the end of Haunter’s forum, Haunter had a moderator named Void. He was a moderator on a forum owned by former mod of GHPF Kittyhawk. Void was a mod of both forums for about 6 months and then made the announcement that he was quitting the mod position and would be on just as often as he can. They did not hear from him again after that. Void had one thing he would have liked to see. Haunter and Kittyhawk form a message board together. Then later Haunter and Kittyhawk’s Stormy Dungeon was open. We formed it and kept it updated. But the admins went on to other things. But Haunter went back 6 months later and was shocked to see that there was so many members that remained active on it. The forum is still active to this day.

So these are the three forums that lead to this major site. The form of this forum may become better at a later time. But until then Haunter will try to keep this updated and with Gengar’s help maybe it would be as big as GHPF someday. lol.
