Get the Show on the Road! is the 1st episode of Pokémon: Advanced, the sixth season of the Pokémon anime, and the 274th episode of the English dub overall (Japanese episode 277, Bulbapedia code AG001). It first aired in Japan on 21 November 2002 and in the United States on 1 November 2003. It falls within the season’s A new region: Littleroot to Petalburg stretch (EP1–EP3).
First shown in the US as a sneak preview on 15 March 2003, back to back with A Ruin with a View, in the middle of the Master Quest run and two days before Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire reached North America. The preview used a logo resembling the Master Quest one and an earlier recording of some of May’s lines; the regular Kids’ WB premiere followed on 1 November 2003, launching the network’s new Saturday line-up.

Trivia
- The English title plays on the idiom for setting off.
- The screenplay is by Junki Takegami.
- This is a plot episode: it advances the Hoenn storyline.
Changes in the English Dub
- The 15 March 2003 sneak-preview version had May say “between you and I” (corrected to “me”), lacked the added line “There it is, Littleroot Town, up ahead!” and pronounced “Pokémon” differently
- 4Kids replaced the whole score with its own synthesiser tracks, keeping only the new Team Rocket theme
