Synopsis
A reckless Officer Jenny newly transferred from Kanto drafts Ash into her hunt for Team Rocket, and her talkative Chatot ends up captured by the trio. On the road to Snowpoint City, Team Rocket pose as a Jubilife TV crew to grab Pikachu, but Piplup and Pikachu send them flying, and Jenny promptly “arrests” Ash so that he can act as bait.
Jenny, who takes down thieves with bowling balls while her Chatot helps with Feather Dance, is scolded by her chief for her methods but carries on. When Team Rocket return with nets, they catch Chatot instead of Pikachu, and Jenny explains how she met her partner. Staravia tracks the thieves to their hideout.
Team Rocket grow sick of Chatot’s mimicry and plan to give it to Giovanni anyway. Jenny crashes in with a bowling ball, the group fall into a tunnel and face a bowling-pin mecha, and once Chatot escapes, its Steel Wing wrecks the machine. Jenny heads off to the Whirl Islands, and the friends continue north.
