Synopsis

The conclusion of the cancelled two-parter, scheduled for 24 March 2011, was postponed with Part 1 and has never aired anywhere. In the known story, Team Plasma raid Giovanni’s masquerade and steal the Meteonite, Team Rocket and Team Plasma fight over it at an abandoned airfield as it overheats, Ghetsis appears in shadow, and Pikachu destroys the unstable stone with a giant Electro Ball; Giovanni returns to Kanto with Dr. Zager and Pierce, leaving Jessie, James and Meowth to operate on their own with a Yamask following them. TV Tokyo’s promise to show the two episodes “someday” was removed from its website in late 2018; The Pokémon Company International received them but never dubbed them, Emolga the Irresistible! took this slot three weeks early, and elements of the story resurfaced in later Black & White episodes and the 2013 opening Be an Arrow!.
