Synopsis
Two Darumaka stealing food in a riverside town lead Ash’s group to a Darmanitan trapped holding up the bell of an old clock tower. One Darumaka scorches Iris with Flamethrower, and two raid the group’s lunch and knock out Oshawott. Nurse Joy explains that they once lived peacefully with a Darmanitan, but recently began stealing, and that the silent clock tower is due to be demolished.
That night the Darumaka take the Pokémon Center’s dumplings and Ash follows them into the tower. Meanwhile, Team Rocket meet a mysterious woman on a bridge who hands them an item and sends them to Nacrene City. In the tower a fire breaks out, put out by Pikachu’s Thunderbolt and Oshawott’s Water Gun.
At the top the group find a Darmanitan in Zen Mode holding the fallen bell with Psychic; the Darumaka have been feeding it, but it cannot eat while it holds the bell. Tepig, Pansage and Oshawott reshape the broken hook, Ash and Pikachu fix it in place, and the bell rings again. The townspeople decide to restore the tower as the Pokémon’s home.
