Synopsis
Ash and his friends join Virgil, a rescue worker who owns an Eevee and all seven of its evolutions, to save workers trapped in a dam frozen by Cryogonal. Virgil’s Espeon catches Ash and Iris when shifting boulders send them over a cliff, and at his family’s ranch he explains that his first Eevee became an Umbreon whose Flash once led him out of a dark forest.
His brother Davy flies to the dam with Stoutland and Bisharp, frees some workers, and is then frozen in with them by a rampaging Cryogonal. Virgil’s team goes to work: Flareon melts the door, Glaceon and Umbreon form an ice key, Vaporeon’s Bubble Beam breaks through the rust, Umbreon lights the dark halls, and Jolteon and Pikachu recharge the drained generator.
When more Cryogonal attack, Pignite holds them back while Virgil’s young female Eevee digs a tunnel to Davy and a trapped worker and frees a Cryogonal pinned behind pipes. Realising the humans were trying to help, the Cryogonal leave, Flareon and Pignite melt the ice, and Ash learns that Virgil is also entering the Unova League.
