Synopsis
Dawn’s new Cyndaquil has its first battle and clashes with a jealous Piplup, and the group are locked inside the Valley Windworks after Team Rocket overload its power. Cyndaquil shows off Flame Wheel, Swift and Smokescreen against Grotle until Brock stops the match, and Piplup’s jealousy starts a brawl over a Poffin.
Following Lyra’s missing Marill into the Valley Windworks, the friends wake the guard Benjamin, whose Magnemite had attacked them. Team Rocket plug a cable into the plant to charge their mecha, and Jessie’s impatience triggers a power surge that locks the building down, trapping the humans in a storeroom where Lyra quizzes Dawn about which boy she likes.
Pikachu crawls through a vent and teams up with the bickering Piplup and Cyndaquil to reach the security room, where Wobbuffet’s Mirror Coat had beaten the Magnemite. Whirlpool and Thunderbolt drive off Team Rocket and lift the lockdown. Outside, the trio’s Magcargo cannon drains its battery with one shot, and Pikachu blasts them away.
