Synopsis
On the road to Nacrene City a proud wild Snivy runs rings around Ash before finally joining his team. After Cilan cooks lunch, Ash finds the Snivy eating the leftovers and tries to catch her, but she infatuates Pikachu with Attract, revealing that she is female, and escapes with Leaf Storm.
Nearby, Giovanni warns Team Rocket that Team Plasma have become active in Unova. Snivy overhears, slips away from Jessie’s capture attempt and falls asleep on a rocky outcrop, where Pidove spots her. She knocks rocks down on the climbing Trainers, uses Attract on Oshawott and escapes again, leaving Ash and Pikachu stuck in a swamp until Iris and Cilan pull them out.
At a river Snivy charms Tepig as well, but Pidove, also female, is immune to Attract and wears her down with Gust and Air Cutter. Ash throws a Poké Ball and catches Snivy, completing his set of Unova first partners, and promises her they will compete in the Unova League together.
