Synopsis
Sheltering from a storm in an empty mansion, Ash’s group are haunted by Litwick that drain life energy and open a portal to the Ghost World. The mansion is Team Rocket’s new hideout, and James has his Yamask recruit the Litwick to scare the twerps away, but floating objects, a window that will not stay shut and living clothes rattle both groups, and Pikachu’s Thunderbolt exposes the Litwick before the Pokédex malfunctions.
Exhausted, Team Rocket hear from Dr. Zager that Litwick feed on life energy. Meowth is seized, and Pikachu, Axew and Yamask are found collapsed in the basement, where the Litwick and a Lampent open a gateway to the Ghost World.
Ash, Cilan and Team Rocket call a truce and attack together, but only Pikachu’s Electro Ball banishes the Ghost Pokémon. Everyone recovers, the mansion turns out to have been an illusion, and Team Rocket end the truce with a vow to catch Pikachu as another downpour sends the friends into a tree hollow.
