Synopsis
Giovanni uses the Reveal Glass to summon Tornadus, Thundurus and Landorus in their Therian Formes, until the artifact’s power possesses him and Team Rocket abandon their Unova operation. Ridley explains that Meloetta once sank the ruins to stop people fighting over the Glass, while Pikachu breaks open its cube with Iron Tail and Ridley’s Golurk catches Ash after Woobat and Yamask knock him off the temple.
The heroes’ Pokémon fight the transformed forces of nature. When Iris steps in front of Dragonite to shield it from Thunder, Pikachu takes the blow, and Dragonite begins to trust her. Amplified by the Glass, the three Legendaries freeze Undella Bay, but Pikachu, overcharged by Thundurus’s lightning, fires a gigantic Electro Ball that destroys the top of the temple and frees Meloetta.
Possessed by the Glass, Giovanni orders the destruction of Unova until Jessie, James and Meowth push him out of its range; restored and remembering nothing, he orders a retreat to Kanto. Ridley returns the Glass to its pedestal and Meloetta sings, calming the Legendaries and returning them to their Incarnate Formes as the ruins sink back into the sea. Meloetta then leaves with Ridley, leaving Oshawott heartbroken.
