Synopsis
Crossing the fog-bound Skyarrow Bridge, Ash’s group are trapped in a time loop by a lonely Gothitelle that misses its old friend. Before setting out, Ash swaps Sewaddle for Pidove with Professor Juniper. An eerie fog rolls in that even Officer Jenny’s Swanna cannot clear with Defog, and when the group cross anyway, a Gothitelle blocks Snivy’s attacks with Psybeam and the bridge seems to collapse.
They wake to find the bridge still under construction, and a girl named Sally offers them a ride on her father’s Water Taxi, helped by the friendly Gothitelle. A passenger mentions that the taxi will soon close, which saddens Sally and Gothitelle, and when the boat lands the group are back where they started.
Following Gothitelle to the bridge, Snivy battles it through Double Team and Protect, until an adult Sally appears and explains that the girl was an illusion: when the bridge opened, the Water Taxi closed and Gothitelle lost its friend. The two reconcile, the fog lifts, and the group finally cross to Castelia City.
