Synopsis
Iris defeats Ash in the final of the Club Battle tournament and wins the set of Driftveil wings. Palpitoad beats Dino’s Darumaka with Hydro Pump to send Ash to the final, and Iris’s Axew, struggling against Luke’s Ghost-type Golett, learns Outrage and wins her semi-final.
That evening Cilan cooks a victory dinner and accepts a Connoisseur challenge from Burgundy, and Bianca’s footage turns out to show Luke’s Zorua. Meanwhile, Team Rocket prepare their next plan in Nimbasa City.
In the final, Pikachu’s Iron Tail and Electro Ball keep pace with Excadrill’s Drill Run and Metal Claw, and its tail attacks wear the Drill Pokémon down, but Excadrill outlasts Pikachu and knocks it out with Focus Blast. Georgia tells Iris to keep working towards becoming a Dragon Master, Burgundy and Cilan make peace, and Luke leaves to finish his documentary as the friends head for Nimbasa City.
