Synopsis
Ash’s group help return a lost Cubchoo to its family and bring peace between two feuding groups of Beartic on a stormy mountain. The Cubchoo fell from its parent’s back during a storm, and when the travellers find it injured, Meowth gives it an Oran Berry, but three Beartic attack and answer Meowth’s attempt to negotiate with Icy Wind.
A Mienfoo saves them, and its Trainer, the mountain ranger Cliff, offers shelter and agrees to help take Cubchoo home after Meowth translates its story. On the way up, the group are surrounded by more Beartic and scattered down a rocky slope, while in Nimbasa City Ingo and Emmet chase a mysterious Ghost Train.
At the foot of the mountain, Meowth, Pikachu, Oshawott, Tepig, Axew and Cubchoo cooperate to find food, but the berries they take belong to the Beartic. Clashing Sheer Cold attacks loosen boulders, and the Pokémon and both Beartic groups work together to stop them. The two groups reconcile and agree to live peacefully.
