Synopsis
Meowth reveals that his defection was a trick when Team Rocket steal every Pokémon from the Nimbasa City Pokémon Center, including those of Ash, Iris and Cilan, and escape on the subway. On the way into the city the group meet the Subway Bosses, Ingo and Emmet, who explain that a mysterious Ghost Train has been haunting the network.
At the Pokémon Center Meowth talks his friends into booking their Pokémon for massages, then secretly calls Dr. Zager, who has Jessie and James open the Driftveil Drawbridge and hack the Center’s security. Meowth empties the vault through the ventilation system and traps the relaxed Pikachu and Axew.
Following the vent to the subway tracks, the group confront Meowth, who rejoins Jessie and James as Jessie’s Woobat covers their escape on the Ghost Train towards Anville Town. Ingo and Emmet find that Team Rocket have hacked the automatic system and plan an ambush, but the friends’ mail car chases a decoy that explodes, and the Bosses spot a swarm of decoy trains.
