Synopsis
At a Pokémon Day Care, Iris patiently wins the trust of a painfully shy Deino before its Trainer arrives to take it home. Two rowdy Deino interrupt Ash and Cilan’s practice battle and steal the group’s food, but Ash’s and Iris’s Poké Balls bounce off them, and their owner turns out to be Bobby, the manager of the Day Care they escaped from.
The group helps Bobby feed the Day Care’s many Pokémon, and Iris spots a third Deino too shy to eat. She tells Ash and Cilan how a Dragon Master once calmed a raging Druddigon in the Village of Dragons simply by watching it and talking to it calmly for days, and she does the same. Meanwhile, Team Rocket and Dr. Zager fly to Milos Island to capture the forces of nature.
The next day the shy Deino finally comes out, eats from Iris’s hand and lets her pet it. Iris stays until its Trainer comes and asks the Deino whether it wants to travel with her, but its owner soon arrives, explaining that he got lost in Chargestone Cave chasing a Tynamo. Iris says a sad goodbye, while on Milos Island Team Rocket survey Landorus’s shrine.
