Synopsis
The Sunglasses Krokorok returns to challenge Pikachu, helps a boy stand up to a bully in a Double Battle, and then joins Ash’s team. The Krokorok, the sunglasses-wearing Sandile from the hot-sand spa, explains that it has secretly followed the group across Unova and wants a rematch, but an Electro Ball explosion blasts Pikachu down a hill into the arms of a boy named Mick.
Mick, who thinks Pikachu is a baby Zekrom, wants to borrow it to beat his friends Glenn and Sean, who never let him battle with them. Ash agrees, and Krokorok volunteers to train with Mick, turning aggressive whenever its sunglasses fall off. Glenn, meanwhile, demands stronger Pokémon from Sean, who brings his father’s Scolipede and Seismitoad.
In the Double Battle Glenn ignores Sean’s advice, and Pikachu’s Electro Ball and Krokorok’s Crunch overpower Sludge Bomb and Drain Punch to give Mick the win. Ash stops a furious Glenn from hitting Mick, Sean breaks with him, and Cilan’s gift of Pokémon food brings the three boys back together. Pikachu and Krokorok then fight their rematch fairly, Pikachu wins with Iron Tail, and Ash catches the willing Krokorok.
