Synopsis
Bonnie’s bag, with Dedenne asleep inside, is swapped with a little girl’s identical bag holding her sister’s Pichu, and both sides search for each other around Cyllage City. At a Pokémon Center Bonnie asks a young woman, Lena, to marry Clemont, and Lena’s younger sister, Lyn, leaves with Bonnie’s bag by mistake.
During a practice battle between Pikachu and Chespin, a frightened Pichu pops out of the bag Bonnie took and shocks her and Serena; the group search for a girl with a big red ribbon, and Clemont’s Radiowave Amplification Device overloads and explodes. Meanwhile Lyn finds Dedenne, loses it in a park and finds it again at a doughnut truck, while Lena reclaims her Pichu and learns Lyn is missing.
Lyn follows Dedenne out of town into a vineyard, where Dedenne is gathering grapes and fleeing a Beedrill, which kicks it and knocks off Lyn’s bow. Dedenne’s Thunder Shock drives it away until it returns with a swarm and Lyn trips, but Pikachu arrives and, with Dedenne, clears the Beedrill. Everyone reunites, Bonnie tearfully apologises to Dedenne, and both pets turn out to have eaten too many treats to want dinner.
